Affiliate Program Terms

Effective July 24, 2026 · Operated by Ruhge LLC ("HOWSR," "we," "us"). Participating in the HOWSR Affiliate Program (the "Program") — including sharing your referral code or accepting any commission — means you accept these terms, which supplement our Terms of Service.

1. Eligibility & enrollment

Every HOWSR account holder age 18+ is automatically enrolled and issued a personal referral code. We may also issue codes to non-members we approve in writing. We may decline or revoke participation at our discretion.

2. Referral attribution

A subscriber is credited to you when (a) they subscribe using your referral code or link, or (b) HOWSR assigns the referral to you in our records. One referrer per account, determined at the referred account's first subscription; attribution is not transferable and later disputes are resolved by us in good faith based on our records, which control.

3. Commissions

For each referred account with an active paid monthly subscription: $20 per month. Commissions begin with the referred account's second subscription month — no commission is earned for their first month (which they receive at the promotional $29 rate). A month is earned only while the referred subscription is active and paid; commissions stop when a referral pauses, cancels, moves off a qualifying monthly plan (including to an annual plan), or lapses, and do not automatically resume on resubscription. Trial, demo, unpaid, refunded, and self-referred accounts never earn commissions. If a referred payment is refunded or charged back, the corresponding commission is reversed.

4. Referred-customer offer

Your code gives new subscribers their first month for $29, then $20 off per month ($129/mo instead of $149 on the agent plan) beginning with their second subscription month, for as long as their referred monthly subscription remains active and paid. Monthly plans only; new subscribers only; one promotional first month per customer; not combinable with other offers; subject to change.

5. Payment

Earned commissions are applied first as credit against your own HOWSR subscription. Amounts above your monthly bill are paid to you monthly. A completed IRS Form W-9 is required before any cash is paid; balances under $25 roll forward. We may withhold or offset amounts reasonably tied to suspected fraud, reversals, or violations of these terms. You are responsible for your own taxes; we will issue Form 1099 where required by law.

6. How you may promote — required disclosures

When you promote HOWSR anywhere (social media, email, text, in person), the FTC requires you to clearly disclose that you may earn a commission — e.g., "I earn a commission if you subscribe with my code." You must comply with all applicable law, including CAN-SPAM for email and the TCPA for texts and calls (no unsolicited bulk messages). You may not: make false or misleading claims about HOWSR; spam; refer yourself or accounts you control; buy search ads on HOWSR trademarks or confusingly similar terms; post codes to coupon-aggregation sites; or represent yourself as HOWSR or our employee or agent.

7. Independent relationship

You participate as an independent party. Nothing in the Program creates an employment, agency, partnership, franchise, or fiduciary relationship.

8. Not a real-estate referral fee

Program commissions compensate you solely for marketing a software subscription. They are not compensation for real-estate brokerage services, not a rebate, and not a referral of settlement-service business. You are responsible for complying with the licensing rules of your state as they apply to you.

9. Changes, suspension & termination

We may modify commission rates or terms prospectively, or end the Program, with notice on this page; changes never reduce commissions already earned. We may suspend or terminate your participation for violation of these terms — fraud or material violations forfeit accrued unpaid commissions. Either party may end participation at any time; legitimately earned commissions through the end date will be paid.

10. Disclaimer & limit of liability

The Program is provided "as is." Commissions are your sole compensation. Our total liability related to the Program is capped at the commissions paid to you in the twelve months before the claim arose.
